Terms of Use (English)

By using the FlickMatch app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. The Service

FlickMatch is an entertainment app that helps you discover movies and series based on your taste, and connect with users who share the same interests. The app does not display or stream any copyrighted video content. All movie information, posters, and trailers are taken from TMDB, and availability information on streaming services from JustWatch.

2. Account

• You can use the app without an account. Some features (such as following people and syncing ratings across devices) require signing in with "Sign in with Apple".
• You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for the activities carried out through it.
• You must be 13 years of age or older to use FlickMatch.

3. Acceptable Conduct

When using the social features (following, discovering users), you must comply with the following:

• Do not disturb or harass other users.
• Do not impersonate anyone else.
• Do not attempt unauthorized access to other users' accounts or to FlickMatch's systems.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete any account that violates these terms without prior notice.

4. Intellectual Property

The FlickMatch logo, the interface design, and the texts are the property of the app's owner. Movie and series data and images are owned by their original owners (TMDB, JustWatch, the studios). Content from the app may not be reused for commercial purposes.

5. Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is". We do our best to keep the information accurate, but we do not guarantee that availability information on streaming services is up to date at every moment. Recommendations are based on an algorithm and do not necessarily reflect the quality of the content.

When you tap "Watch on Netflix" or similar, the app concerned opens directly — and that platform's own terms apply to viewing.

6. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from "Settings → Delete account". All your data will be erased immediately and permanently. We may also end or suspend the service for technical or legal reasons.

7. Changes

We may update these terms when needed. Updates take effect from the moment they are published. Your continued use of the app after an update means you accept the new terms.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
