Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, username, and profile photo.

Content You Share: Photos, videos, check-ins, comments, ratings, and captions you post.

Location Data: With your permission, we collect precise location to show nearby restaurants and enable check-ins. You can disable location access in your device settings.

Device Information: We collect device type, operating system, and push notification tokens for delivering notifications.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and improve the Invlog service
• Show you nearby restaurants and places
• Enable check-ins and social features
• Send push notifications (with your permission)
• Prevent fraud and enforce our terms

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Other Users: Your public profile, posts, and check-ins are visible to other users based on your visibility settings.
• Service Providers: Cloud hosting (Fly.io), media storage, and analytics providers who help us operate the service.
• Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect safety.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on cloud servers. We use encryption for data in transit (TLS) and secure token storage on your device (Keychain).

5. Your Rights

• Access: View your data through your profile.
• Delete: Delete your account and all associated data through Settings > Delete Account.
• Export: Request a copy of your data by contacting us.
• Opt-out: Disable location, notifications, or delete your account at any time.

6. Photos and Media

Photos you upload have location metadata (EXIF/GPS) automatically stripped before upload to protect your privacy. Your media is stored securely and only shared according to your visibility settings.

7. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Foursquare Places API (restaurant discovery)
• Tenor API (sticker/GIF search)
• Apple Maps (map display and directions)

8. Children's Privacy

Invlog is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. We will notify you of significant changes through the app.
